Bhaskarrao dhondo keshav karve
Bhaskarrao Karve inherited the idea of social work, service and human welfare from his father, Bharat Ratna Dhonde Keshav Karve. With this rich legacy of social work and after receiving higher education in Pune and abroad, he established Karve Samaj Seva Sanstha on November 9, 1963.
In order to inculcate the true values and principles of social work he founded this institute. This institute imparts professional training in social work with a view to create dedicated manpower to do the social work of community building, and overall development. This institution started with this noble purpose is celebrating its 60th year of its inception.
